CUPERTINO / SARATOGA SUMMER CAMP - STEM, Coding & Startup
Cupertino and Saratoga kids write code, make craft or STEM inventions and build a summer startup to learn!
Startup Wonder’s Summer Day Camps combine Coding with Business Concepts, Maker, Crafts and STEM projects in a Fun Age-Appropriate curriculum. Classes are designed with a multi-level curriculum, so, advanced or returning students progress faster and reach advanced modules.
Campers are divided into groups of Grades 2-5, 5-8 and 8-12 and have age appropriate lesson plans. AM covers writing Code, making games or Apps. AD (All Day) adds Entrepreneurial lessons in the afternoon so campers can turn their morning (or any invention or craft) project into a startup. Camps also include outdoor games and leadership circle where interpersonal skills are taught. All startup ideas are encouraged to evaluate social, community and environmental benefits.
Camp schedule for grades 2-8 is for Half Day (AM, 9am-12pm) or All Day (AD, 9am-3pm). Registration for PM only is NOT currently available. Extended Day is 8:30am-9am and 3pm-5:30pm. Staff arrive on camp at 8:30am.
Teen classes for grades 9-12 are late afternoon (PM2, 3:15pm-6pm). Teen classes are more educational while younger camps include more fun activities.
Teams pitch or demo at Convention day and compete with online submissions (open to all) at Young Visionary Contest.
